Las Vegas' Stratosphere Launches World's Tallest SkyJump

The Stratosphere Las Vegas Hotel & Casino has opened the world's tallest SkyJump attraction, located 855 feet above the Vegas Strip. Guinness World Records declared SkyJump Las Vegas as the highest commercial decelerator descent, breaking the previous record set by SkyJump at Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Centre with a height of 764.4 feet. Located atop of the hotel, SkyJump Las Vegas can best be described as a controlled free fall. Riders are suited-up in jump suits and connected to a patented high-speed descender machine. Similar to skydiving or base jumping, SkyJumpers literally leap off the platform to descend 829 feet to the landing pad below.
