Little Palm Island, the only private island resort in the U.S. has announced an ‘Impactful Indulgence’ resort buyout package starting at $500,000.
Located in Little Torch Key, Florida, Little Palm Island Resort & Spa is offering a package to include a three-night resort buyout. $15,000 will be donated to the MOTE Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, a Florida-based independent, nonprofit marine research institution. This donation will assist MOTE in its ocean conservation, research and restoration efforts of the ocean’s coral reefs using cutting-edge science.
The buyout package enables guests to have the entire iconic 4.5-acre adults-only property to themselves while giving back to the surrounding ecosystem within which the island is located.
In partnership with MOTE Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, Little Palm Island guests will experience a first-hand look into ocean conservation on a half-day excursion with a world-class MOTE scientist to ‘plant’ coral leading to reef restoration. Once planted, the coral is named in the primary guest’s name, coordinates are recorded, and an annual video of the coral growth will be provided to the guest.
The ‘Impactful Indulgence’ package can include up to 60 guests and includes:
– Luxury accommodations in thatched-roof bungalow suites featuring plush interiors, spacious verandas, and both indoor and outdoor soaking tubs and showers - including 16 Island Escape Suites, 10 Island Romance Suites, 2 Island Grand Suites and 2 Island Premiere Suites.
– World-class dining, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
– VIP excursion with MOTE Marine scientist to plant coral, name it and collect data on coordinates for annual updates. Note that other guests taking part in the buyout also have the opportunity to donate to MOTE Marine in order to take part in the same experience.
– Direct access to SpaTerre to indulge in sustainable facial and massage treatments like the Organic Slimming Seaweed Leaf Wrap that utilizes hand-harvested seaweed leaves.
– Curated welcome amenity featuring chilled premium Nicolas Feuillatte champagne and nightly turndown service.
– Complimentary daily water sport rentals including kayaks, paddle boards, day sailors and snorkel equipment.
– Complimentary dockage for up to 10 yachts.
– Transportation to/from the island via antique motor-yacht.
