Hotel & Resort Janeen Christoff September 18, 2018

Travelers looking to get in on the camping trend without making the financial commitment to purchase the gear or drive the RV should look no further than the chance to get out and "glamp."
AutoCamp, a Santa Barbara start-up that offers boutique stays in a camp-like setting, is continuing its expansion with a new location near Yosemite National Park.
AutoCamp’ Yosemite destination is scheduled to open in early 2019 and reservations are currently available.
The luxury experience in the woods includes the chance to stay in custom Airstream trailers, modern cabins or suites—all with chic decor.
Those who want to come a little closer to roughing it can stay in stay in high-end tents complete with wood-burning stoves.
Each site has a private patio and campfires, and guests can take advantage of numerous on-site amenities. An inviting clubhouse inspired by mid-century modern design offers community fire pits and lounge areas as well as food and beverage offerings, complimentary coffee and tea and private meeting and event space.
There is a pond on the property that gives guests the opportunity to use canoes, kayaks, and paddleboats. There is also a heated pool and Yosemite National Park is a short shuttle ride away as is the historic town of Mariposa.
Guests can hike from the property and a fully stocked camp store provides everything glampers will need during their stay.
AutoCamp also has other locations at California’s Russian River and Santa Barbara. Stays at the Russian River are in the heart of Sonoma’s Wine Country and guest can adventure into downtown Santa Barbara, too.
