A new hotel brand designed for travelers seeking style without sacrificing sustainability has opened its doors in three locations across the country.
Created by certified B Corporation 'andCo Hospitality', The Fold Hotels can initially be found in Steamboat Springs, Colorado; Indian Shores, Florida and amid the bustle of theme parks in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
Each of the three locations of The Fold feature upcycled design, energy-efficient amenities and community-driven experiences.
“The Fold is about proving that sustainability and style can coexist
beautifully, and with plenty of personality,” Alex Smith, president of
andCo Hospitality, said in a statement.
“We designed each location to feel like a true reflection of its
community, all while making more responsible travel choices accessible
and affordable,” Smith added. “Because, much like a vacation, saving the
planet should never be boring.”
Company officials said the properties are meant to be less “cookie-cutter hotel” and more “your new favorite hangout.” The vibe of each property leans heavily into local flair, while the guest experience at The Fold will be focused on “sparking joy, wonder, and maybe even a little vacation envy from friends and family back home.”

The Fold Comes to Florida and Colorado
The Fold, Steamboat Springs, Colorado
Located in the Rockies, The Fold Steamboat Springs is a 60-room resort located steps from world-class skiing, hiking, and natural hot springs.
The property’s design channels Colorado’s adventurous spirit with repurposed vintage furnishings and communal spaces perfect for swapping stories by the crackling fire.
Luxe amenities like the ‘Hot Box’ sauna room await, and après adventure, guests can unwind with craft coffee, tasty B Corp snacks and sundries, and a front-row seat to the town’s buzzing arts and music scene.
The Fold, Indian Shores, Florida
Situated along Florida’s pristine Gulf Coast, The Fold Indian Shores is meant to be a playground for beach lovers, shell seekers and nature enthusiasts alike.
The 32-room hotel features a laid-back vibe and eco-friendly touches. Décor inspired by coastal charm and eco-touches like renewable power sources and energy-efficient tech keep things as fresh as the ocean breeze.
The Fold, Lake Buena Vista, Florida
The Lake Buena Vista location of The Fold is in the middle of Orlando’s entertainment corridor.
The 28-suite property offers a modern, playful home base minutes from the area’s many world-famous theme parks and attractions. The property also includes smart amenities and a community-focused atmosphere offer a refreshing alternative to the usual Orlando stay.
