In honor of SpongeBob SquarePants' 25th anniversary, Nickelodeon
Hotels & Resorts is launching a celebration. The event will take place
throughout July 2024 as part of the award-winning Summer of SpongeBob program.
Both Nickelodeon resorts have introduced new SpongeBob
beach-themed overlays, perfect for family photo ops during this special
anniversary along with a limited-time 25th-anniversary sandcastle display
created by local artists.
Adding to the excitement, watch party events will feature
iconic SpongeBob episodes. Guests are encouraged to dress up in their favorite
SpongeBob attire and enjoy the experience with popcorn, sodas, ice cream and
cotton candy. Additionally, 25th Anniversary retail items will be available for
purchase.
At Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta
Cana, Dominican Republic, Team Nick will host an epic surprise party for
SpongeBob, with SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward in attendance. Guests are
invited to join in the festivities, which include a giant cake, games, piñatas,
party favors, live music, and character photo ops. Additionally, there will be
a live DJ at the Gourmet Village, Splash Mobs and more.
Guests at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya,
Mexico can party with SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward and Sandy. The festivities
will take place at the Golden Pineapple in the Main Lobby and include plenty of
dancing and a raffle with fantastic prizes. Kids can even enjoy a special
SpongeBob-themed drink.
Additionally, Nickelodeon is kicking off SpongeBob
SquarePants' 25th anniversary with SpongeBob and Patrick hosting the
Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards 2024 live from Bikini Bottom on Saturday, July
13, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT). This premiere comes just ahead of the SpongeBob
series anniversary on July 17 and will feature enhanced graphics and advanced
augmented reality.
Guests can still save up to 45 percent when booking their
stay at Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts now through August 31, 2024, for
travel between May 24 and September 3, 2024.
