In the first quarter of 2026, Small Luxury Hotels of the World welcomed 29 properties, expanding its collection to upward of 700 hotels spanning 100 countries.
In the U.S., the company has expanded its reach into new destinations, including Key West, Fla., Santa Monica, Palm Springs and Morgan Hill, Calif., with the openings of Ella Cottages and Lighthouse Hotel, Maisan Twenty Seven and the adults-only La Serena Villas, respectively.
Hotel MOHI by Appellation in Morgan Hill, Calif., situated in the Silicon Valley wine region, will join Small Luxury Hotels of the World in the third quarter of this year.
Other new properties include, but are not limited to Le 3 by Champagne Thiénot in Reims, France, and The Grace Hotel in Westport, County Mayo, Ireland.
In Italy, new Small Luxury Hotels of the World include Eight Venezia in Venice and Casa Caprile in Anacapri on the island of Capri.
The company is also welcoming Dharana at Shillim, a wellness retreat in India’s Sahyadri Mountains, to its portfolio, Telunas Private Island, an eco-friendly resort located on Sugi Island in Indonesia’s Riau Islands; Casa Simona in El Valle de Antón, Panama; Rhino and River Wildlife Retreat & Spa in Assam, India and many more.
