Riviera Travel will introduce Riviera Resplendence, the third river cruise ship in the line’s Radiance Class, when it embarks on its inaugural “Rhine Cruise to Switzerland” sailing out of Cologne, Germany, on July 4.
Additionally, in commemoration of the U.S.’s 250th anniversary, Riviera Travel introduced its most generous gift card incentive ever, enabling advisors to earn $250 Visa gift cards for each new river cruise booking made from July 1 to Aug. 5, 2026.
The 178-passenger Riviera Resplendence will sail on 18 one-of-a-kind itineraries on the Danube and Rhine rivers, including the “Budapest to the Black Sea River Cruise,” “Rhine Cruise to Switzerland,” “Rhine, Moselle & Switzerland River Cruise,” “The Blue Danube River Cruise,” as well as a slate of holiday cruises and solo departures.
Riviera Resplendence is equipped with a lounge, three dining venues focused on regional cuisine and a generously sized sundeck.
“Rich gold accents, warm wood tones and vibrant wall coverings replace lighter color palettes to create an inviting, upscale atmosphere throughout the ship,” Riviera Travel said.
Riviera Travel’s Radiance Class will be the recipient of two additional ships, Riviera Reflection and Riviera Rhapsody, which are slated to enter service within the next two years.
