CANRVE has set out to create a full-service travel company strictly targeting the cannabis community.
Aimed at both medical and recreational marijuana consumers traveling to areas where cannabis has been partially legalized, the firm seeks to help travelers book accommodations and experiences conducive to their lifestyle. The company points out that there are at least 2.5 million registered medical marijuana patients in the U.S. alone.
In addition to private home rentals and local cannabis-friendly events and activities, CANRVE will help users find nearby dispensaries and convenient private cannabis chef services.
Website users can filter their search based on destination, price, check-in and check-out dates, number of rooms and number of travelers.
CANRVE currently offers private listings in the nine U.S. states where marijuana has been made legal for medical and recreational use as well as Canada. CANRVE is even in negotiations with several cannabis-friendly hotels.
The company said it will be launching additional options in Jamaica as soon as next month. Jamaica has eased penalties on small amounts of marijuana in recent years and has begun to embrace the cannabis tourism lifestyle.
The firm also hopes to give back to the community at large.
"We are passionate about the rights of the traveling cannabis community as well as scientific developments in the medical marijuana sector and are donating two percent of sales proceeds to cannabis research," said CANRVE CEO and founder Orbin Johnson, a 29-year hospitality industry veteran.

CANRVE's official startup crowdfunding campaign launched Monday with a maximum funding goal of $1.07 million.
