Intrepid Travel is committing to transparent travel prices this year, promising that travelers making new bookings or those with existing bookings won’t be given additional surcharges during a year when fluctuating costs seem to dominate.
The adventure travel company’s promise extends throughout 2026, following the news that other operators and industry companies, especially airlines, signaled higher pricing for the year. Intrepid promises that it won’t happen for travelers booking with the operator.

“Travel should feel exciting, not uncertain,” said Leigh Barnes, President of the Americas, Intrepid. “We know confidence matters when booking a trip, and that starts with clarity on price. Our focus is on delivering incredible, locally led experiences without unexpected add-ons or last-minute increases.”
“At its core, this is about doing right by our customers,” added Barnes. “We believe in being upfront, standing by our pricing, and giving travelers the confidence to book their next adventure.”
The pricing transparency commitment extends to Intrepid’s tour and flight-inclusive packages, and excludes Polar trips and Tailor-Made arrangements. Airfare, which travelers often book separately from tours, is subject to change as usual.
