New York Sports Tours is bringing the first-ever luxury tour of sporting history to New York City.
The three-hour guided tour navigates Midtown Manhattan in a comfortable luxury vehicle and features exclusive documentaries and other original content that chronicle how the biggest names, places and events in sports history helped define the culture of New York and the rest of the world.
"The New York Sports Tours team is committed to bringing guests a highly entertaining and educational experience," said Jordan Sprechman, the founder of New York Sports Tours. "The tour reflects our prioritization of historical accuracy and our firm belief that experiencing Midtown Manhattan through the lens of sports history presents the city in a way never before seen."
The tour begins near Grand Central Terminal and passes more than 50 points of interest. Guests will hear stories and see video clips that demonstrate sports' influence on advertising, architecture, civil rights, entertainment, fashion, finance, health, language, law, politics and science over the last 150 years.
"This is a ride through time," said Mary Carillo, a New York native and acclaimed sports broadcaster, who narrates more than 30 of the tours' documentaries. "Sports is its thread, but the experience covers so much terrain that you don't have to be a sports fan to enjoy it. Even so, sports die-hards will learn a lot."

Nine seats are available per tour, with plans to offer another for up to 20 guests. Tickets are $150 or for $200, guests can enjoy lunch at Keens, an iconic restaurant that has hosted sports figures for more than 130 years, in the company of a New York sports personality. Private groups of any size may also be arranged.
