Tour industry veteran Nigel Osborne has joined Keytours Vacations International as vice president of sales and business development.
Osborne's mission with Keytours will be to build the brand, grow the groups business, forge partnerships with consortia, and increase engagement with customers.
Osborne brings an impressive resume to the task with many years of experience in senior executive positions with Travel Corp. companies Trafalgar and Insight Vacations, as well as a five-year stint running Virgin Vacations.
Osborne was also president of Destination Europe, the package division of Auto Europe, and vice president of sales and marketing for Holland America Line Westours.
Osborne has had a friendly business relationship with Keytours CEO Koray Edelman for many years, and the two have worked together in various capacities. So the collaboration is a natural outgrowth of that relationship.
Keytours conceives of itself as a provider of tailor-made, flexible FIT and escorted packages for individuals and groups. The company creates packages to order, utilizing first class and deluxe boutique hotels in Europe and the Mediterranean region, including Italy, Spain, France, the U.K., Sicily, Portugal, Central Europe, Germany, Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Egypt and Jordan.
The company provides a menu of suggested itineraries, including all components, that agents can use to build itineraries with the assistance of Keytours destination experts.
