TTC Tour Brands is launching a new familiarization trip with its guided vacation company, Trafalgar, for BIPOC travel advisors, departing March 11, 2024 for destinations across Europe.
The FAM trip will take BIPOC travel advisors on the Sense of Europe itinerary, a seven-day guided trip visiting Prague, Vienna and Budapest. The trip’s dates are March 11-17, 2024. Experiences include a before-hours guided visit to the Kunstkammer, a tour of the Hofburg Palace, a dinner exploring Hungarian cuisine in Budapest and a dinner with a local family to end the trip.
The trip is part of the organization’s sustainability strategy, under its DEI goals to help connect underrepresented travelers and travel advisors with the brand.
“Diversity is the foundation of meaningful travel,” said TTC Tour Brands Senior National Account Manager Tonya Leigh, who spearheaded the Sense of Europe experience for the BIPOC travel advisor community and will be escorting the trip this March.
“Eastern Europe is an emerging destination for North American travelers of color and selected with intention,” continued Leigh. “Rich in history, and with incredible architecture, food, music, and art, this is a place for all travelers to discover. By sharing this incredible experience with our partners in the BIPOC community, we are helping them to bring this experience confidently to their customers while expanding and strengthening their professional network.”
