Unforgettable Greece is introducing 22 new itineraries, offering travelers a mix of iconic and lesser-known destinations throughout the country.
“Greece continues to captivate travelers, but what we’re seeing now is a desire to go beyond the most famed locations and to delve beneath the surface of what makes Greece such a unique destination,” said Graham Carter, co-founder of Unforgettable Greece.
“The launch of our new itineraries comes as Greece prepares to be firmly in the global spotlight, thanks to the upcoming release of Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster “The Odyssey” come June,” he added.
Just some of the highlights of two new nine-day itineraries include “From the Sea to the Sky: Athens, Meteora and Corfu,” which includes an exploration of ancient Athen, an e-back tour cycling through Meteora’s surreal landscape, and a private boat trip around Corfu; and “Queens of the Aegean: Athens, Syros and Mykonos,” which takes in Syros’ medieval architecture, explores Choros, Ios’ main town, with the trip culminating in Mykonos.
The 12-day “Ionian Escape: Athens, Zakynthos and Kefalonia” itinerary puts the spotlight on the history of Athens and the Peloponnese Peninsula and explores the Ionian archipelago; while the 12-day “Signature Wellness Escape: Athens Riviera, Mystras and Zakynthos” itinerary “starts at Greece’s most sought-after wellbeing hotels, including Euphoria Retreat” and concludes with a “restorative stay at Porto Zante Villas and Spa,” the tour operator said.
Select itineraries are now available online, with the full collection scheduled to go online in the coming days.
