Travel agents interested in learning more about Puerto Rico are in luck.
Travel Impressions is providing an in-depth look at the multi-faceted destination throughout the month of August.
In the latest #WeekendLearning Series, Travel Impressions will dive deep into what travel agents need to know about Puerto Rico.
Every weekend during August, travel agents should follow the campaign via the following hashtags on Facebook: #TheRealPuertoRico and #WeekendLearning.
It's no secret Puerto Rico is a beautiful destination that travelers find intriguing. The fact that U.S. residents don't need a passport to travel here also makes it an enticing place for agents to sell clients on.
And now that recovery from Hurricane Maria is about 100 percent complete, it's time to discuss to your clients about visiting. After all, continued tourism to Puerto Rico is only going to help them improve.
The #WeekendLearning Series will focus on unique areas of Puerto Rico and how it appeals to a variety of travelers.
"This detail-oriented series paints a comprehensive picture of what Puerto Rico has to offer," said Scott Wiseman, president of Travel Impressions. "Agents can utilize this information to tap into a growing demand for the types of authentic vacation experiences that Puerto Rico has in abundance."
"We applaud Travel Impressions as this industry initiative is significantly important for the island. Travelers rely on operators and agents for trusted advice and information," said Ed Carey, chief sales officer of Discover Puerto Rico. "Puerto Rico has been on an upward trend that is worth announcing broadly, so sharing updates on the destination and showcasing the exceptional hospitality Puerto Rico is known for is an absolute focus of ours."
Travel agents will get insider knowledge on what Puerto Rico is really like, as well as discover how Puerto Rico caters to modern families, travelers who seek cultural experiences, foodies craving unique cuisine and adventure travelers.
Travel Impressions' #OnLocaTIon project in San Juan was a success and beginning on Saturday, August 4, agents who follow the #WeekendLearning Series will surely benefit on the deep dive into Puerto Rico's rich heritage and tourism landscape.
