In Riviera Maya, the much-anticipated transformation of Grand Riviera Princess and Princess Family Club Riviera is about to be revealed. This month’s reopening will give guests their first look at the completely renovated properties and the room types.
For guests ages 13 and over, the 42 Deluxe Junior Suite Swimouts feature direct pool access a balcony or terrace, 55” smart TV, smart air conditioning, and a minibar that is filled with water, soft drinks, and beer—and refilled daily. The 34 Platinum Suite Plunge Pool rooms are slightly larger in size and also come with bathrobes and slippers, welcome liquors, personalized concierge service, room service from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., and access to a private pool.
Additionally, the 24 adults-only Laguna Villa Suites feature a king bed, moist towel and welcome drink, early check-in/late check-out, Platinum Club services, premium WiFi, one hydrotherapy session per person, a weekly culinary experience, and 15% discount on spa treatments and food and drink at the exclusive Chill Out Beach Club.
At the Family Club, you can choose between Family Club Deluxe Junior rooms (470 sq-ft) or Family Club Deluxe Junior Swim-Out rooms. These accommodations include one king bed and three single bunk beds, a private check-in/check-out area, full bathroom with whirlpool tub, coffee maker, satellite TV with children’s channels, minibar, balcony/terrace, and special amenities for children. Here, bottle warmers, cribs, and strollers are all available upon request. There is also a themed children’s pool and an exclusive buffet restaurant that is decorated for families.
The Family Club provides extra bonuses, such as the Princess Family Club Water Park, a play area, game room, and the Princess Family Club ice cream parlor. Families also receive a Princess beach bag. There is a Mini Club for children ages 4 to 12 and a Teen Club for teens ages 13 to 17. Kids will also enjoy the computer game room and a dance floor for teens and children (located in the ice cream parlor. A children’s garden area helps instill eco-friendly practices in these youngest guests.
