“In a world where you can be anything, be kind.”

But when it comes to air travel, is this popular phrase something many are forgetting?

Recent years have seen unruly passenger behavior rise. If only people would choose to be more compassionate during their travels.

We’re in the thick of the winter storm weather season that always wreaks havoc on travel. Kindness at the airport can go a long way.

It’s not all doom and gloom though – there is still good in this world.

This past week I traveled to Disney World on a multi-generational family vacation.

Traveling with two little kids is no easy feat. I was blown away at the level of kindness from strangers willing to lend a helping hand in Atlanta and Orlando. From the security lines to the plane trains to airport seat swaps and beyond, people are genuinely good.

And it wasn’t just kindness towards us, I noticed it all around.

Sure, there’s a few bad apples out there. The naughty traveler stories will never just go away. But together, we can work to cancel those out with stories of thoughtfulness and joy.

Will you help spread some kindness during your travels this year?
