The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) is now accepting nominations for 2014 induction into the Cruise Industry Hall of Fame. Inductees will be honored at a gala dinner on April 5 during the 10th anniversary cruise3sixty conference and trade show. Nominations can be made here.
The Hall of Fame inductees are selected based on nominations from CLIA's membership, followed by a review by the CLIA Trade Relations Committee.
Nominations for 2014 are being accepted until Jan. 22 for candidates in three categories: "Outstanding Past or Present Cruise Industry Executive," "Outstanding Past or Present Cruise Retailer" and "Cruise Sales Innovator."
Cruise3sixty will take place April 2-6, 2014 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale.
The 2013 inductees to the Cruise Industry Hall of Fame included Mark Conroy, former president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises; Michelle Fee, co-founder and CEO of Cruise Planners-American Express Travel; and Michael Drever, founder of CruiseShipCenters International Inc.
