Due to geopolitical issues and a litany of domestic concerns, many travelers are taking more time to consider summer vacation plans, resulting in shorter booking windows – but that’s not stopping Kensington from assisting them in creating bespoke vacation experiences.
“Travelers are approaching summer planning differently this year,” said Kensington President Helen Giontsis. “Many are waiting longer to commit, whether due to global events, shifting priorities, or simply wanting greater flexibility and confidence before booking.”
“What remains consistent is the desire for highly curated travel experiences, and that is where Kensington excels,” she added. “Our destination expertise, private-guided approach and ability to manage the complexity of planning on shorter timelines allow travelers to book with confidence, even later in the season.”
The luxury tour operator has availability at a considerable number of destinations, including France, the Greek Islands, the Canadian Rockies and Alaska.
The “Essence of Provence” itinerary explores France’s Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Les Baux-de-Provence and Avignon, while, as its name implies, “Essential Greece: Athens, Mykonos and Santorini” delves deep into those three destinations.
The “Tuscany Road Trip, Italy” trip takes in the landscapes of Chianti vineyards and ancient villages, with guided tours of Florence and Siena.
In Canada, the “Essential Banff and Lake Louise Explorer” itinerary takes in Banff’s boutique-lined streets, soaring mountain views from the Banff Gondola and scenic drives along the Icefields Parkway with stops at Peyto and Bow Lakes,” Kensington said.
The “Alaska: Denali, Lakes and Glaciers” trip spotlights customized excursions to Anchorage, Talkeetna, and Denali National Park, and includes drives along the Turnagain Arm Waterway, helicopter flights over glaciers, and much more.
