Summer is right around the corner and if you haven't made any plans, Allianz Global Assistance has some suggestions.

In a recent survey, the travel insurance provider reveals the top destinations of summer.

"This year's results yielded some interesting findings: New York is a newcomer to the list, revealing that travelers are not only interested in beach destinations this summer," said Daniel Durazo, director of communications for Allianz Global Assistance USA.

With new theme park rides and attractions opening around the city-it's no wonder summertime is peak travel season in Orlando, Florida. But there's more to explore than just the traditional amusements in the city.
