Unvaccinated travelers ages 12 and older
visiting the Bahamas are required to obtain a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken no more than three days prior to the date of arrival. Travelers must also apply for the Bahamas Travel Health Visa at travel.gov.bs and opt-in to the COVID-19 health insurance covering them for the duration of their stay. The cost is included in the visa application and depends on the length of stay. Finally, unvaccinated visitors traveling inter-island within the Bahamas from New Providence (Nassau), Paradise Island, Grand Bahama Island (Freeport), Eleuthera or Inagua must obtain a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken no more than three days prior to their date of travel and present it to the operator of their airline or vessel.
