A Look Inside the First All-Inclusive Resort in the Florida Keys

Located just 63 miles south of Miami, Bungalows Key Largo is an adults-only oasis in a destination that has historically been known as a family playground. Amenities and highlights at Bungalows Key Largo include a sun-bathed oceanfront infinity pool, a Zen Garden Spa, Fitness Tiki Hut and Zen Pool. There's also complimentary watersports and daily sunrise yoga sessions.

The 11-acre property includes three restaurants: Fish Tales; Bogie & Bacall's; and the open-air Sea Señor. Fish Tales, which overlooks the ocean and infinity pool, is designed to be a low-key, casual eatery that offers all-day dining.

Mexican food with a Keys twist is the theme at Sea Señor, a beachfront space featuring fresh, local seafood for lunch and dinner. Bogie & Bacall's will be the resort's fine dining offering, a venue that will serve six-course meals with wine pairings.

Waterfront or garden bungalow? You decide. Each comes with its own drool-worthy details. Waterfront bungalows include a secluded oceanfront veranda with deep soaking tub, a private patio furnished with Adirondack chairs and an indoor spa bathroom with rain shower.

Garden bungalows are set amid a lavish botanical greenspace and feature private verandas with soaking tubs and outdoor showers. Like the waterfront bungalows, these accommodations also have private patios furnished with Adirondack chairs and interior spa bathrooms with rain showers.

Interiors for each bungalow are thoughtfully decorated in calming whites, textured neutrals, and tranquil blues. The all-natural materials were chosen to be an opulent expression of Key Largo's relaxed cabana lifestyle.

Organic textures and inviting finishes layer guest accommodations in warmth and romance. Additional details include pillow-top mattresses and 60-inch Smart televisions. Accommodations range in size from 900-square-feet to 1,100-square-feet.

The Zen Garden Spa is the property owner's nod to Bali, one of his favorite destinations. The tranquil space, filled with Buddhas, is designed to offer all the essentials necessary for pampering by the sea.

Spa highlights include men's and women's locker rooms, rejuvenating hot sauna, and plush indoor relaxation areas. There are also four outdoor treatment cabanas adjacent to the Zen Pool where spa-inspired cocktails and beverages are served.

Spa fans will also want to spend some quality time enjoying the Himalayan salt room and a state-of-the-art turquoise blue quartz-tiled eucalyptus steam room.

When not recharging and rejuvenating there's plenty of outdoor activity and watersports to choose from. The property includes two, floating six-seat tiki boats (the S.S. Rum Runner and S.S. Margarita), and an array of aquatic activities such as snorkeling and paddleboarding. Electric Duffy boats, a 38-foot sailing catamaran, and a 40-foot Intrepid powerboat are available for still more activity.
