After quickly selling out after opening for registration back in April, the American Society of Travel Advisors’ (ASTA) 2026 River Cruise Expo is expanding the event and reopening registration, which ASTA advisors can do now.
The 2026 River Cruise Expo will take place next March 11-15 in Amsterdam, Netherlands and will feature fifteen river cruise ships, a record number for the event. More attendees will also be allowed to attend than in any previous expo.
The General Session will feature an expanded two-day educational event, while advisors will also get a first glimpse at Celebrity Cruises’ and Trafalgar’s river cruise debuts. Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love, will give the keynote address, while Sarah Little, ASTA’s Senior Vice President of Business Development, will christen AmaWaterways’ newest ship, the AmaSofia.
Original capacity for the event sold out in April, when ASTA added a waitlist for potential ASTA member advisors to register. The Expo offers three different attendee tiers, with varying pricing for attendance.
