The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) and tech platform Travefy have joined forces to introduce a brand-new accolade, called the ASTA Emerging Leaders Award presented by Travefy, which recognizes standout young professionals who are shaping the future of the travel industry
This new initiative goes beyond simply handing out an award—it shines a light on travel advisors age 45 and under who are making waves through innovation, leadership and mentorship. With an eye toward the long-term growth and resilience of the travel advisor profession, ASTA and Travefy have come together to recognize individuals who are actively booking travel while also standing out for their achievements in sales, sector involvement, mentorship, and entrepreneurial spirit.
“The future of our industry depends on bold, visionary leaders,” said Zane Kerby, President and CEO of ASTA. “Leaders who not only excel in business but also lift up others along the way. This award celebrates advisors who push boundaries, mentor their peers and redefine what leadership looks like. Honorees will receive a personalized crystal award as a symbol of their leadership, innovation and accomplishments. They’ll also take the spotlight during ASTA’s Premier Industry Awards event in January 2026 and enjoy special perks provided by the award’s presenting partner, Travefy.
