Signature Travel Network inked a three-year agreement with the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) to offer the Society’s “Roadmap to Becoming a Travel Advisor” courses as part of the consortia’s new Signature Embark sales training program.
The courses to become a part of Signature Embark include “Roadmap to Becoming a Travel Advisor,” “GeoCultural Guide for Travel Advisors” and “Top Notch Customer Service.”
“We’re both honored and grateful that Signature is partnering with us on this important initiative, as we recruit qualified, professional and well-trained new advisors to the rewarding career of travel,” said ASTA President and CEO Zane Kerby.
“I want to thank [Signature Travel Network President and CEO] Alex Sharpe and the entire Signature team for committing to this endeavor.”
“ASTA’s courses are an ideal fit for Signature Embark, our new training program,” said Gina Weyer, Signature Travel Network’s vice president of training.
“The courses provide those new-to-industry with an understanding of the travel industry as well as essential knowledge on vacation planning geography and customer service that complement our program core topics which are focused on sales.”
