Sandos Hotels & Resorts to Launch Enhanced Travel Agent Portal

Sandos Hotels & Resorts will launch an all-new Sandos Agent Portal in November 2023.

The revamped portal will be more user-friendly and intuitive to allow travel advisors to maximize their benefits when booking Sandos properties.

Improvements rolling out next month will include an enhanced user interface for user-friendly and effortless navigation, new rewards currency that ditches Smart Points in favor of Sandos Coins—one Sandos Coin equals $1—and expanded functionality.

The five new functionalities include the option to book commissionable hotel stays for clients, an easier process to register bookings, live availability and booking tool for free stays and travel advisor rates, the use of coins to pay for any room type and additional roommates and the use of coins to pay for merchandise and products at resorts.

Travel advisors who have accrued Smart Points will have them converted into Sandos Coins. Advisors who wish to use their current Smart Points before the transition can put them toward new stay requests until the end of October for travel until December 19, 2024.

Sandos said that the introduction of the enhanced Sandos Agents Portal is a pivotal part of the brand's ongoing digital transformation phase, which includes a new-look website, the convenience of online check-in and the Sandos App.
