Fear of flying is nothing to scoff at for some people. The anxiety and stress of being in the air can be overwhelming.
But last month British Airways rolled out a test pilot program of sorts, partnering with the Mindfulness Institute to create a series of videos to help passengers find their center and try to de-stress before and during flights.
Instructor Mark Coleman takes the viewer through a series of breathing techniques and visualization exercises designed to help calm the nerves.
The videos aren't long - about four minutes each - and here's an example of one.
There are three videos - one to watch before the flight in the boarding area, and the other two to watch during the flight.
In a statement, Sean Doyle, British Airways' Americas Executive Vice President said, "At British Airways we design the flying experience to maximize our customers' time, whether they want to work, rest or be entertained. Introducing mindfulness practices allows customers and our employees to be at their best and be ready for the next part of their journey."
The videos are for transatlantic flights and debuted on BA's London-San Francisco route.
