It was the most difficult holiday parting ever.
Three-year-old Norah was on her way from Auckland, New Zealand to Germany with her family, which was relocating to Europe.
Flying on Air New Zealand, little Norah somehow lost her beloved and precious best friend - "Bear" - on the first leg of the trip from Auckland to San Francisco. As to be expected, the little girl was distraught the whole way back home after realizing her teddy bear was missing.
Before all hope was lost, Air New Zealand stepped in.
The airline found Bear, and with the help of ground staff, cabin crew and the airline's UK team, Air New Zealand managed to deliver Bear back to Norah in Germany last week.
Along the way, the carrier chronicled Bear's amazing journey back to Norah with pictures and videos, making it a Christmas reunion she will never forget.
