As the turmoil continues to grow in Venezuela, another airline has suspended service to the nation's capital, Caracas.
According to BBC.com, officials from Argentine Airlines revealed concerns about the increasing criminal violence and political uncertainty in Venezuela, which caused the carrier to suspend flights.
Argentine Airlines joins a long list of major carriers who have taken similar action.
The majority of the airlines who have suspended service to Venezuela have cited concerns about the safety of flight crews, unpaid contracts and issues with the government's control of currency exchange.
"The situation has become increasingly difficult, most of IATA's members have left Venezuela," International Air Transport Association vice president Peter Cerda said in a statement.
"There are only six or seven carriers left operating a very low flight frequency. Venezuela is becoming disconnected, it's practically disconnected from the rest of the world, above all by air, and we can't see any solution in the short term."

Argentine Airlines said passenger traffic in Venezuela has dropped by 75 percent over the last four years. Other airlines that have left the market include United, Delta, Lufthansa, Air Canada, Aeromexico and Alitalia.
One of the few remaining carriers serving Venezuela is Copa Airlines, which has claimed it will not abandon the market despite not allowing its flight crews to stay overnight in Venezuelan cities.
