Winter storm Diego has wreaked havoc across the south, prompting road closures and causing power outages.
It has made air travel difficult, too.
American Airlines canceled 225 flights on Saturday and nearly 1,100 flights on Sunday. The canceled flights centered on those that came in and out of Charlotte Douglas International Airport, an American Airlines hub and one of the most affected airports within the storm.
The cancellations don't end there. American Airlines canceled 300 more flights on Monday.
Southwest Airlines canceled four flights to and from the Charlotte Airport on Sunday, too, as well as four flights due to arrive at the airport on Saturday evening.
More than two out of three Charlotte Airport flights have been canceled or affected by the storm.
Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, Kentucky had five canceled arrival flights and three canceled departures.
Those traveling through the southeast today or tomorrow should check with their airline for updates on delays and cancelations.
American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and Frontier Airlines are allowing travelers to rebook their flights for free.
