With a new U.S. office in Denver, Colorado, Amadeus River Cruises continues to expand.

The Amadeus Star, the line's 16th passenger ship will make its debut in 2019, featuring 70 deluxe cabins that measure approximately 188 square feet. Twelve Amadeus suites offer 284 square feet of space. Similar to its other ships, Amadeus' Mozart and Strauss, decks will also feature panoramic windows which extend across the entire cabin front and have been specially designed for the Amadeus ships. Suites feature walk-out balconies with seating.

All deluxe cabins will be equipped with spacious bathrooms, infotainment systems, flat-screen televisions, telephones, cabin safes, minibar and air-conditioning.

"We have one of the most modern fleets in Europe, which has achieved an outstanding international reputation thanks to its progressive design, premium facilities and excellent onboard service," said Dr. Wolfgang Lueftner, founder and managing director of Lueftner Cruises.

"With each new ship, we strive to set new standards in European river cruising based on our long-standing tradition and experience. The Amadeus Star joins the ranks of our premium line and is our response to the worldwide demand for top-class river cruise products," Lueftner added.

Guests will find much to keep them busy onboard, including a spacious sundeck with shaded seating, loungers and grand chess.

On the stern of the ship is the Amadeus Club, an exclusive area with a library and a bar as well as the stern bar, which has a lower able side front that has been specially designed for the Amadeus Star.

At the bow, guests will find the River Terrace, a protected viewing area that provides unparalleled views of the passing scenery but keeps guests out of inclement weather, such as wind and rain.

There is also a modern fitness area, a salon, a massage room, a panoramic restaurant and the Panorama Bar with space for evening performances, lectures and musicians.

The latest in Wi-Fi technology will also be onboard and there is an elevator, as well.

The ship is scheduled to debut in April of 2019, sailing in Holland and Belgium and finish out the season sailing between Amsterdam and Basel to the Black Sea and the world-famous Danube Delta.
