Aurora Expeditions introduced its 2028 Northern Hemisphere lineup, which includes 29 departures, seven all-new Cultural Expeditions, 16 Polar Expeditions and an expanded roster of six Discovery Expeditions, all of which are open for booking.
In all, the itineraries and expanded roster of six Discovery Expeditions span across 20 countries and territories, calling at 161 ports in the Arctic, Europe and Central America aboard Douglas Mawson and Sylvia Earle.
Cultural and Polar Expedition Highlights
Just some of the new 2028 Cultural Expeditions include the 11-day “The Isles of the British Isles” cruise from London to Dublin, departing April 19; the 15-day “Valletta to Lisbon: The Mediterranean: Beyond the Icons” sailing from Valletta to Lisbon, departing May 31; and the 14-day “A Northern Saga” expedition from Amsterdam to Bergen, departing June 26.
New polar expeditions include the 11-day “Norwegian Fjords & Svalbard Explorer” voyage from Tromsø to Oslo via Longyearbyen, departing June 8; and the “Wild Greenland: An Active Arctic Expedition " voyage from Reykjavík to Kangerlussuaq, departing Aug. 23.
On the 2028 Discovery Expedition front, Aurora also unveiled the “Northern Lights & Wild Isles: Iceland, Greenland to Scotland” voyage from Reykjavík to Aberdeen, departing Sept. 23.
