Azamara
Cruises has announced that bookings are officially open for its 195-night
2029 World Cruise.
The highly anticipated World Cruise aboard Azamara Quest
will sail from San Diego to Copenhagen from January 3 through July 17, 2029. As
part of the 2029 World Cruise offering, the cruise line has introduced three
ways to experience the cruise, with two additional journeys of 179 and
139 nights opening for bookings October 14, 2026.
Spanning five continents and 40 countries and
territories, the full journey will spend 65 percent of its time in
port, with 16 overnight stays and 60 late nights, giving guests more time
in destination than any other 2029 World Cruise. The vessel will sail from
North America through the South Pacific, Oceania and Asia before ending in
Northern Europe, visiting 126 ports including 12 maiden voyages. Two shorter
journeys will invite guests to experience the World Cruise at a length best
suited to their needs.
The ship will call on 11 ports in New Zealand, 12 ports in
Australia, continuing through Indonesia and Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and
China, nine ports in Japan, Alaska, British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest,
through Central America and the Panama Canal to Columbia and Florida. The
sailing then heads north to New York before crossing the Atlantic to Ireland,
the United Kingdom and France, continuing into Northern Europe.
The final stretch through Northern Europe spans 12 different
countries in the last 16 nights of the journey, including Germany, Denmark,
Poland, Finland, Latvia and Sweden, before arriving in Copenhagen.
