Azamara Cruises is unveiling its 2027 Overland Experiences collection.
The experiences allow guests to temporarily leave their ship and embark on a multi-day land adventure before rejoining the vessel at a later port. Each itinerary is fully coordinated by Azamara Cruises and includes premium accommodations, transportation, guided touring and select meals.
The 2027 collection includes 18 journeys in seven countries that invite guests to “venture beyond the port through extraordinary cultural encounters, historic discoveries and awe-inspiring natural wonders,” says Shandra Stoeterau, director of land product development at Azamara Cruises.
“From the temples in Angkor Wat to the iconic lagoons of Bora Bora, these immersive experiences go beyond the traditional port visits to allow deeper exploration into the heart of the countries,” she adds. “This emphasis on meaningful cultural connections and immersive exploration is what continues to distinguish the Azamara Cruises experience.”
Highlights of the 2027 collection include:
- Bora Bora Overwater Bungalow Escape (French Polynesia) – Embarking January 5, 2027, guests sailing on the 18-Night Pacific Islands Cruise to Oahu, Kauai & Bora Bora can enjoy a three-day, two-night stay at the luxurious Hotel Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts, complete with overwater bungalow accommodations, direct lagoon access, world-class dining and opportunities to explore one of the South Pacific's most iconic destinations.
- Majestic Laos & Vibrant Hanoi (Laos & Vietnam) – Departing March 14, 2027, travelers on the 19-Night Southeast Asia Cruise to Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City & Hong Kong can immerse themselves in a five-day expedition through the cultural heart of Laos and Vietnam, from the French colonial charm of Vientiane and the riverside beauty of Luang Prabang to the vibrant streets, historic architecture and rich cultural influences of Hanoi.
