Silversea has opened sales for Silver Whisper's 140-day, 62-port, 32-country World Cruise 2020.
Departing Fort Lauderdale on January 6, 2020, the cruise will sail into the record books. Silver Whisper will be the first ship to visit all seven continents on a world cruise.
The "Legends of Cruising" itinerary features a number of long stays and overnights in capital cities and remote outposts. In a cruising first, Silver Whisper will traverse both the Northern and Southern Fjords, providing a glimpse of stunning scenery. Other destination highlights include French Polynesia, Sydney, Singapore, Mumbai, the Red Sea and the Mediterranean.
In addition to some forty new destinations, the itinerary will feature the most popular ports from previous World Cruise itineraries. Silversea's Expedition team will share their knowledge and expertise with passengers throughout the voyage. Onboard events, excursions, and bespoke overland programs are also in the lineup.
"This itinerary not only demonstrates Silversea's destination expertise and willingness to innovate, but also our care and attention to our guests' preferences," said Barbara Muckermann, chief marketing officer at Silversea. "We have sought feedback from our most loyal World Cruisers in order to create the only seven-continent World Cruise available."
An Owner's Suite package is available at the price of $250,000 per guest. It includes round-trip business air travel, $4,000 onboard spending money per suite, unlimited Wi-Fi, an expedition parka, laundry and medical services, and visa packages for guests of select nationalities, among other amenities.
