Carnival Cruise Line announced that two passengers have been
banned for life after they were caught fishing from the balcony of their room.
According to WDBO.com, a Carnival representative revealed
that fishing from any of the cruise line’s ships is strictly prohibited.
The spokesperson confirmed the passengers were identified
thanks to a video circulating online and have been permanently banned from sailing with the company.
On social media platform TikTok, now deleted video surfaced
of passengers on a Carnival ship fishing from their balcony and pulling a
greenish-yellow fish measuring about one foot in length out of the water.
While it remains unclear which ship the incident took place
on, it appears to have been docked at the time of the incident. The video was
posted by one of the now-banned guests and garnered millions of views, but has
since been deleted.
While the original video was removed, other users have
reposted it.
Earlier this year, a Texas woman was banned for life from
Carnival ships after she packed CBD gummies in a carry-on bag.
