Carnival Cruise Line announced a new partnership with Roku, including a new advertising campaign for Roku users.

The new ad campaign between Carnival and Roku will feature the Carnival Jubilee, the latest ship in the cruise line’s fleet, which is set to sail from Galveston, Texas, in 2024. The partnership marks the first time a travel brand has launched a Roku City execution.

“Our collaboration with Carnival Cruise Line marks the first time a travel brand has launched a Roku City experience,” said Roku’s Jeff Katz, US Head of Verticals, Restaurants & Travel.

“Roku helps make brands unmissable in the streaming era, and Roku City has become an iconic way to grab the attention of our users that ‘stroll through it’ every day,” Katz continued. “Together, we designed a delightful and immersive campaign that aims to maximize awareness and build excitement for the upcoming Carnival Jubilee ship setting sail in 2024.”

The campaign will be docked in Roku City from September 14-30.

“At Carnival Cruise Line, we love to have fun, visit new destinations and showcase the entertainment we have onboard – so bringing the first cruise ship to Roku City is very much on brand for us,” Chief Marketing Officer Amy Martin Ziegenfuss said. “Our newest ship, Carnival Jubilee, will deliver excitement to our guests, like giving them the chance to ride BOLT, the world’s first rollercoaster at sea.”

“Through our partnership with Roku, we are excited to promote Carnival Jubilee in a way that we hope will surprise and delight viewers by sailing her digital replica to this iconic city of easter eggs,” Ziegenfuss continued. “We hope our beautiful new ship will bring a smile to everyone who catches a glimpse of her while she is docked in Roku City.”

Earlier this week, Carnival announced plans to expand its popular Family Feud Live onboard game show to as many as a dozen new ships by the fall of 2024. Currently available aboard Carnival Celebration and Mardi Gras, Family Feud Live will debut on Carnival Vista during its upcoming September 16 voyage before coming to Carnival Legend on its September 30 sailing.
