Carnival Cruise Line's festival-style "Agentpalooza" bus tour will visit Southern California from June 11-14. Each stop will include a main stage and five separate areas featuring entertainment and sales marketing activities. Leading the tour is Carnival's Senior Vice President of Sales and Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez, along with other members of the line's sales leadership.
"Last year's event was such a great success thanks to the support, active participation and enthusiasm of the thousands of travel agent partners who showed us exactly why we call them rock stars," said Perez. "We're excited to take the bus tour to Southern California and visit with agents as we build excitement for the arrival of our newest ship, Carnival Panorama, which arrives in Long Beach at the end of 2019."
At each stop, Carnival cruise directors will host games designed to showcase the line's onboard experience. Prizes include a complimentary Carnival cruise for two.
New this year is a T-shirt design contest. From today through April 25, 2018, agents can submit a rock and roll-inspired design that will be judged by Perez, Carnival Cruise Line's President Christine Duffy and Vice President of North American Sales Mike Julius.
The winning design will be featured in the official 2018 Agentpalooza T-shirt. The winner will receive a seven-day Carnival Caribbean cruise, with $100 gift cards to runners up. The T-shirts will be sold at each event, with profits going to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
The "Agentpalooza" bus tour schedule includes Pasadena on June 11, Orange County on June 12, San Diego on June 13 and Long Beach on June 14.
Registration is open and agents are encouraged to sign up early. Availability is limited.
