Celestyal Cruises has unveiled details about the new shore excursions offered on its “Iconic Arabia” itineraries in 2025.
The company is sending both of its ships, Celestyal Journey and Celestyal Discovery, to the Arbian Gulf for the winter season starting in 2025. Celestyal Journey will begin homeporting in Doha in November, followed by Celestyal Discovery in Abu Dhabi in 2025.
Travelers can choose between 3- and 4-night cruises sailing round trip from Mina Zayed, Abu Dhabi, from December 2025 to February 2026 and December 2026 to February 2027. The 3-night voyages feature 25 shore excursions, while the 4-night cruises offer 34 tours.
“We are renowned for our immersive, authentic travel experiences, and we couldn’t be more excited to replicate this ethos in our new winter home of the Arabian Gulf,” says Lee Haslett, chief commercial officer at Celestyal.
For example, travelers who want to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Arabian Wildlife Park on Sir Bani Yas Island can book a half-day “Get Closer to Nature” tour. On the “Art, Culture and Afternoon Tea” excursions, guests have an opportunity to explore Katara Cultural Village and sip afternoon tea.
Other options include getting a behind-the-scenes look at the Yas Marina Circuit, snorkeling with turtles, ziplining and cooking lessons at the National Hospitality Institute, to name a few.
