After completing a dry-dock refurbishment on the Seabourn Sojourn, the luxury ship newly touts The Grill by Thomas Keller and Dr. Andrew Weil programming, marking the fleet-wide rollout of the dining and wellness enhancements respectively.
"The Grill by Thomas Keller and Spa & Wellness with Dr. Andrew Weil are the latest in our long tradition of offering the finest guest experiences in luxury travel," said Seabourn President Richard Meadows, in a press release. "The outstanding partnerships we have with Chef Keller and Dr. Weil are now complete, with the next iteration to come on Seabourn Ovation when it launches next spring."
First created in 2015, The Grill by Thomas Keller is a Seabourn exclusive from the acclaimed chef made to look like classic American restaurants from the 1950s and 1960s. The dining venue serves unique takes on favorite dishes such as hearty steaks, whole roasted chicken and Lobster Thermidor, as well as table-side-prepared Caesar salad and ice cream sundaes.
From personal experience, everything is unforgettably delicious from the brioche loaf to the Dover sole to the final cookie sendoff. It is without a doubt the very best restaurant at sea.
Additional free Mind and Body seminars extend to topics from Dr. Weil's best-selling books and research like Spontaneous Happiness & Spontaneous Healing, Healthy Aging, etcetera. For a surcharge, individual wellness services are also available.
Besides the pair of signature upgrades, other shipboard enhancements include new carpet and designs in public areas, overall refreshed suites and furniture and soft good updates in the Owner's, Signature and Wintergarden Suites specifically.
The Seabourn Sojourn will embark on in-depth Extended Explorations with more overnights for the start of 2018 before returning to Alaska in the summer to highlight Ventures by Seabourn excursions.
