Among the many exciting attractions on Carnival Cruise Line's new Carnival Vista is a more serene one in the form of its double-decker Cloud 9 Spa as well as spa staterooms and suites. Highlights of the spa facilities include the line's first infrared sauna and Hammam Chamber, fragrant showers, large whirlpool and four steam chambers.
The Infrared Heat Chamber features heating elements built in to the walls for more effective temperature management at overall cooler temperatures, and the Hammam Chamber, straight from the Ottoman Empire, ladles warm water over the body to gradually raise the temp to 113 degrees F.

What's more, the onboard Thermal Suite comes with separate heat therapy rooms with various dry and wet atmospheres. The Steam Chamber with Aroma Steam and Aromatic Grotto uses high humidity and heat for skin and respiratory benefits with fragrances of cinnamon, orange or apple. Meanwhile, the Dry Heat Chamber, or Laconium, is a sauna-like room for circulation effects.
Fitness junkies will also appreciate the indoor cycling studio, cardio and weight-training equipment and classes like the 45-minute RYDE powered by Myzone with climbs and sprints tracked by integrated technology. Rounding out the amenities are treatment rooms for massages and facials, traditional saunas, locker rooms, a salon, relaxation room and VIP treatment room with its own whirlpool.

Additionally, 98 spa staterooms and six spa suites are located on decks 12 and 14 with adjacent spa and exclusive packages, discounts and appointment access. They also come with special spa amenities and designs.
