Holland America Line’s 2024-2025 West Coast cruises from San Diego and Vancouver offer round-trip itineraries visiting four distinct regions of the world, from Hawaii through the Panama Canal.

The itineraries, which are open for booking now with early booking bonuses for Have It All bookings and Mariner Society members, offer 42 different cruises ranging from one day to 21 days in destinations such as Mexico and the Pacific Coast, Hawaii and the Panama Canal. Departures begin in September 2024 and go through May 2025.

The Koningsdam and Zaandam will be heading to Mexico from San Diego, offering itineraries along the Mexican Riviera and the Baja Peninsula. Destinations include Manzanillo, La Paz, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and others.

The line’s Panama Canal Collectors’ Voyages are expanding to offer more opportunities to transit through the engineering marvel that is the Panama Canal. These itineraries range from 14 to 21 days and sail from Vancouver, Seattle or San Diego to Fort Lauderdale in Florida. There will be three ships sailing these itineraries: the Eurodam, Nieuw Amsterdam and Zaandam.

Destinations other than the Panama Canal that travelers can visit on these itineraries include destinations in California and Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Aruba, Guatemala, Mexico, Turks and Caicos and a call at Half Moon Cay, the line’s private island.

Those traveling to Hawaii can enjoy departing from San Diego or Vancouver aboard the Koningsdam and Zaandam ships. The 16 to 18-day itineraries can include visits to Honolulu, Lahaina, Hilo, Kona, Nawiliwili and Ensenada, Mexico.

Lastly, the line is offering one to seven-day itineraries along the Pacific Coast aboard five ships: the Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Westerdam and Zaandam. They depart from San Diego or Vancouver and are either roundtrip or transit between these two ports.

Destinations on these itineraries can include Santa Barbara, San Francisco, Ensenada, Mexico; Astoria, Oregon; Victoria, British Columbia and Seattle, Washington.

“Holland America Line continues to cultivate our North America homeport cruises to offer a diverse range of destinations without the need for long-haul air,” said Beth Bodensteiner, Holland America Line’s chief commercial officer. “Our West Coast departures are a rich collection of close-to-home itineraries, and by offering the ability to book back-to-back cruises in different regions our guests can check off more of their must-do travel experiences in one vacation.”
