MSC Cruises will begin limiting guests who purchase alcohol packages to 15 drinks daily starting in April 2025.
Non-alcoholic drinks will remain unlimited and package holders will still have the option of purchasing additional drinks at regular price.
According to a guest who contacted the CruiseRadio.net tip line, MSC will start selling the updated drink packages on Wednesday, December 18. Guests will need to purchase their package by then to avoid the daily maximum.
The new packages will apply to sailings departing April 1, 2025, and beyond. However, MSC Yacht Club guests can continue to order beyond the 15-drink limit, according to CruiseRadio.net.
With the change, MSC is focused on "promoting a healthy and balanced approach to indulgence, allowing us to maintain high-quality service whilst creating an enjoyable and responsible atmosphere for all our guests."
Guests will still be able to redeem their package at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve but the change will likely make it harder for guests to secure alcoholic drinks for members of their travel party who didn't purchase a beverage package.
