MSC
Cruises has released its summer 2028 Caribbean itineraries, now open for
booking.
Six ships will sail from four homeports, offering cruisers a
myriad of cruise lengths and port options. Two World Class ships– MSC World
America will depart from Miami and MSC World Atlantic, in its first summer
season will depart from Port Canaveral —offering alternating 7-night Eastern
and Western Caribbean itineraries.
Guests departing from Miami and Port Canaveral can also
choose from short sailings to The Bahamas, many that include overnight stays at
Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the cruise line’s private destination in The
Bahamas. Summer 2028 sailing passengers will also be among the first to visit Sandy
Cay, MSC Cruises’ new luxury private island retreat off the coast of Ocean
Cay, defined by its pristine aragonite sands—among the purest and brightest in
the world.
The island remains true to the spirit of Ocean Cay –
connecting guests to nature and the natural beauty of the ocean. Upgrades are forthcoming,
including new dining venues and dedicated family-focused and adults-only
experiences.
Guests sailing from Galveston will enjoy 7-night itineraries
visiting the best of the Western Caribbean. The cruise line’s new year-round
offering from La Romana in the Dominican Republic offers a diverse selection of
ports, including calls at Catalina Island.
Lynn Torrent, President, MSC Cruises North America, said:
“We’re always looking for opportunities to give our guests new ways to
experience MSC Cruises’ mix of European style and American comfort, and our
Summer 2028 Caribbean itineraries are a great example of that,” said Lynn
Torrent, President, MSC Cruises North America.
She added, “We have sunny getaways available for everyone,
whether they’re looking for a quick weekend in The Bahamas, a family vacation
aboard one of our fantastic World Class ships, or a bucket-list journey through
the gorgeous Southern Caribbean. Plus, guests can look forward to the new
experiences we’re building in key destinations like Ocean Cay, Sandy Cay and
Catalina Island—all aimed at ensuring they have the best beach days possible.”
