MSC World America Will Feature New Over-Water Swing Ride Called 'Cliffhanger'

Would you sit on a swing that’s dangling 164 feet above the ocean? Adventurous travelers can do just that when MSC Cruises’ newest ship, MSC World America, launches next year.

The new ship will feature the only over-water swing ride at sea, called "Cliffhanger." Guests will climb into one of the ride’s four seats on the top deck of the ship.

Then, powered arms will lift them up and out over the water, swinging them back and forth high above the ocean.

 

Cliffhanger will be part of the ship’s Family Aventura district, one of seven distinct areas offered aboard the new vessel.

The ship will debut April 9, 2025, at PortMiami. From there, the vessel will offer 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises, with stops at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the cruise line’s private island destination in The Bahamas.
