Brace your taste buds, travelers.
Oceania Cruises announced Thursday that guests sailing its newest ship, Sirena, will have access to a pair of specialty resaturants in addition to some of renowned chef Jacques Pepin's signature dishes.
The 684-passenger ship will debut next spring, with a 14-day maiden voyage scheduled to depart Barcelona on April 27, 2016.
Now, adding to the anticipation, is news that the ship will feature Tuscan Steak and Red Ginger, two speciality restaurants combining world-class cuisine with a luxury setting.
The former is a brand-new concept inspired by traditional steak houses and Italian restaurants. Sirena passengers with a taste for steak and seafood will want to put Tuscan Steak at the top of their list, as the restaurant will serve steak, pork chops, lobster and other beloved dishes with a Tuscan flair.
Meanwhile, passengers who have sailed with Oceania in the past on sister ships Marina or Riviera will recognize Red Ginger, an Asian-inspired restuarant specializing in dishes like miso glazed sea bass and lobster pad Thai.
For lunch, guests will want to visit Sirena's grand dining room, which will be transformed into Jacques Bistro, serving French fare inspired by Pepin, who currently serves as Oceania's executive culinary director.
Earlier this month it was announced that Pepin will get his own cruise set to hit the high seas in November 2016.
Interestingly, Jacques Bistro will feature a seasonal menu designed to complement the conditions outside the ship.
"The addition of Tuscan Steak, Red Ginger and Jacques Bistro to Sirena further exemplifies our commitment to epicurean excellence and steadfast focus on serving our guests the finest cuisine at sea," the cruise line's President and Chief Operating Officer Jason Montague said in a statement. "These new dining experiences, along with Sirena's collection of unique, destination-rich itineraries, will provide guests with another exciting choice within the Oceania Cruises portfolio."
In addition to boasting a trio of exciting dining options, Oceania's Sirena will feature a fitness center, a spa, a casino and a half of a dozen bars and lounges.
Once the ship enters service next year, guests will be able to enjoy the unique menu items all around the world, including destinations like Gaeta, Italy; Golfito, Costa Rica and La Paz, Mexico.
