Oceania Cruises is opening 12 individual segments of its 180-day Around the World voyage aboard Oceania Aurelia for sale today, giving travelers the option to experience portions of the cruise without committing to the full six-month itinerary.
The segments range from 10 to 19 days and cover different portions of the ship’s inaugural 2028 world cruise, which departs Miami in January 2028. The full itinerary visits destinations across six continents, with overnight stays in places including Papeete, Bora Bora, Sydney, Bali, Tokyo, Bangkok and Mumbai.
Among the segments now available is the 17-day “Two Oceans Odyssey,” departing Miami on January 19 and sailing through the Panama Canal before continuing along the coasts of Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Mexico to Los Angeles.
The 19-day “South Pacific Serenade” departs Papeete on February 23 and visits Bora Bora, Pago Pago, Vava’u, Lautoka, Port Vila and Noumea before arriving in Sydney.
Travelers interested in Asia can choose from several segments, including the 14-day “Isles of the Orient” from Bali to Taipei, departing March 27, and the 12-day “Pearls of East Asia” from Taipei to Tokyo, departing April 10. The latter includes calls in Busan, Kagoshima, Nagasaki, Kochi and Osaka.
Other newly available segments include a 12-day sailing from Hong Kong to Bangkok through Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand and a 14-day Mediterranean itinerary from Istanbul to Barcelona, with calls including Athens, Rome, Florence, Nice and Saint-Tropez.

Across the full world cruise, Oceania says guests will have access to thousands of small-group shore excursions and nearly 100 UNESCO World Heritage sites.
The 180-day voyage aboard Oceania Aurelia is scheduled to depart Miami in January 2028 and includes an 18-day sailing from Los Angeles to Papeete, a two-week voyage from Sydney to Bali and a 12-day itinerary from Taipei to Tokyo.
