Royal Caribbean has signed on as a sponsor for the 2024 and 2025 Eurovision Song Contest, the largest live music event in the world.
As the official cruise line of Eurovision for the next two years, Royal Caribbean will “bring to life a wide range of moments and experiences, including brand exposure throughout the event, host-city promotion and more,” according to an announcement on Thursday.
The next contest will take place in May 2024 in Malmö, Sweden. It will be broadcast in the 37 participating countries and streamed online. The timing lines up with the start of Royal Caribbean’s European season, which includes six ships sailing from eight cities.
The deal represents the “ultimate partnership” between “two world-renowned brands that are known for delivering memorable moments to millions across the globe,” says Ben Bouldin, Royal Caribbean’s vice president of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Eurovision brings together musicians from around the world. They must select and perform an original song during the competition, which includes two semi-finals and a grand final. Viewers and judges then vote for their favorite song.
