Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours is following up the much-anticipated debut of its Scenic Eclipse vessel with the announcement of another ship.
Expected to launch in 2020, the Scenic Eclipse II will embark on her maiden voyage from Athens to Lisbon, before her debut season sailing to the European and Russian Arctic, as well as Antarctica.
The Scenic Eclipse II will have a similar design to its sister ship, including 114 all-verandah suites, nine restaurants, eight lounges and bars, a spa sanctuary, fitness areas, indoor and outdoor plunge pools, a marina deck, helicopters and a submarine.
The new vessel will be built next year in Pula, Croatia, where the Scenic Eclipse was constructed. The ship will meet the new International Maritime Organization (IMO) Polar Code requirements and will feature state-of-the-art technology and a host of safety features.
