Silversea Cruises is becoming even more inclusive. The luxury line now will include shore excursions and Wi-Fi on every Mediterranean cruise in 2015.
"Our company is known for pioneering the concept of all-inclusive voyaging," said Kristian Anderson, Silversea's senior vice president and general manager for the Americas. "By including shore excursions and Wi-Fi in the cruise fare, we're making the Silversea vacation experience more indulgent and relevant for today's active luxury traveler."
The new program, good on 52 Med voyages booked on or after Jan. 15, includes a Silver Shore Select excursion in every port of call, such as a tour of Ephesus from Kusadasi or the Acropolis in Athens.
This promotion also includes two hours of complimentary Wi-Fi per guest, per day, and unlimited complimentary Wi-Fi for the line's larger suites (Medallion and higher categories).
Of course, Silversea already includes many other amenities, such as select wines, champagnes, premium spirits, specialty coffees, bottled water, juices and soft drinks, as well as an in-suite bar stocked with guests' preferences, butler service for all suites, in-suite dining and 24-hour dining service, lecture and enrichment programs, round-trip transportation into town in most ports; and onboard gratuities (exclusive of spa treatments).
While the Silver Shore Select excursions are now offered for free in the Med, guests may purchase other tours, including the more-immersive Silver Shore Collection tours, as well as Silver Shore Privato, which provides a private car and driver for independent exploring.
