The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has announced its inaugural year of itineraries. They include cruises in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America, Canada and New England.
Ritz-Carlton introduced the concept for the new line in 2017, as a combination of luxury resort and casual yachting vacation.
The first of three cruising yachts is scheduled for a November 2019 debut. It will accommodate up to 298 passengers in 149 suites, each with its own private terrace. Two penthouse suites will feature private whirlpools.
The yacht will feature a dining venue by Sven Elverfeld of Aqua, the three-Michelin-starred restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg; a signature Ritz-Carlton Spa; and Ritz Kids program.
Voyages will range from seven to 10 days, with no two itineraries alike. Calls will include Barbados, Cartagena, Bordeaux and Copenhagen, Carriacou, Falmouth Harbour, Gustavia, the Balearic Islands, Mykonos and Portofino. Guests can combine back-to-back voyages without repeating ports.
Shore excursions will fall into three different categories: Iconic Sights, Cultural Connections and Active Explorations.
Reservations for the inaugural season of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection open in May 2018 for Ritz-Carlton loyalty members and to the general public in June 2018.
